Application
The Step Drill Spiral Flute is designed for quick and easy drilling, breaking through, deburring
end/or expansion of holes in different materials – steel, brass, copper, aluminium. It is also suitable for
materials like: wood, plexiglass, plastic and others. After drilling there is no need for additional processing
of the holes. It is often used for correction of defects in holes obtained by another type of drilling tool. The
step allows it to be used for large openings and the geometry of the tip eliminates the need of centering.
The tail is round but with three flat sides which provides an excellent grip and prevents potential rolling in
the cartridge case.
