SELF-DRILLING SCREWS WITH WINGS

Self-drilling screws with wings - For connecting wooden elements to metal structures. A hole wider than the diameter of the screw is drilled in the wood through the wings located after the screw drill bit. In this way, the screw passes freely through the wood. When reaching the metal structure, the drill drills a hole, the wings break and the screw is driven into the metal.
