HOLE SAWS

BI-METAL HOLE SAW

Bi-metal hole saws are used for drilling wood, polymer materials, plasterboard, non-ferrous metals, steel and stainless steel.

The teeth of the hole saw are made of high quality HSS steel on a spring steel backing. The use of TWO types of steel defines these items as BI-METAL. Bi-metal hole saws achieve good results when cutting steel (up to 1000 N/mm2) up to a maximum of 5.0 mm and with stainless steel up to a maximum of 1.5 mm. With softer materials, a cutting depth of up to 38.0 mm can be achieved. A groove cut into the cylindrical surface serves to facilitate the removal of material remaining in the tool.

Make sure the centering adapter is the correct size for the hole saw being used. Always make sure that the drilling bit shows 5 to 25mm in front of the teeth of the hole saw, depending on the size of the saw.

HOLE SAW FOR WOOD

These hole saws are often referred as Circular Wood Saws. They are made in the shape of a cylinder which one end ends with a stem and the other has a serrated cutting edge. The tail of the drill bit is used to attach to the chucks of drills and screwdrivers intended for manual work or to bench drills. If it is necessary to make a perfectly precise and clean hole, it is recommended to use the bi-metal hole saw for wood. It is made of high-quality carbon steel which makes the tool durable during maintenance.

HOLE SAW FOR CONCRETE SDS+

The hole saws with adapter for SDS+ mounting are designed for drilling concrete, bricks, plasters, etc.

The teeth of the hole saw are made of tungsten carbide on a St45 backing. To minimize the risk of serious injury, always use eye/respiratory protection and other PPE. Use the hole saws to drill only the specified materials. Always make sure that the drill bit shows 5 to 25mm in front of the saw teeth, depending on the size of the hole saw. Inspect the hole saw before use in the power tool - if there is excessive wear, the tool is bent, the teeth are broken or damaged, replace the hole saw before use.

IMPORTANT!!!

Always check hole saws before use in a power tool - if there is excessive wear, the tool is bent, the teeth are broken or damaged, replace it before use. Use a drill that is equipped with a support handle and start drilling with light pressure. Important instructions and warnings are contained in the power tool's "Instructions for Use" - please refer to the power tool's "Instructions for Use" before using it with the hole saw set.

Failure to follow all safety instructions, warnings and recommendations by the manufacturer during use may result in serious personal injury. To mi nimize the risk of serious injury, always use eye/respiratory protection and other PPE.

Hole saws SHOULD NOT BE USED IN HAMMER OR IMPACT MODE - drill only in standard rotary drilling mode or the tool may be damaged/broken and may increase the possibility of user`s injury.
