WIRE CUP BRUSHES

 Wire cup brushes are tools for quickly cleaning surfaces from paints, varnishes, rust, weld spatter, as well as for cleaning weld seams, etc. Unlike abrasive discs, sandpaper and similar tools they can work on uneven surfaces without damaging them, without taking away material and, accordingly, do not change the geometry of the part due to their flexibility.

According to the type of its attachment they are divided into:

- brushes for attaching to sandpaper, to stationary rotary machines

- for drills

- for an angle grinder

KAM-04 includes in its nomenclature wire cup brushes for attaching to an angle grinder and for attaching to a drill.

SHAFT-MOUNTED CRIMPED WIRE CIRCULAR BRUSH FOR A DRILL

The shaft-mounted crimped wire circular brush for a drill is a tool for cleaning small surfaces. The wavy wire helps in material-friendly cleaning of small to medium-sized surfaces. The flat brushes are designed in a way that all the wires are oriented perpendicular to the attachment axis. They are exceptionally suitable for processing hard-to-reach surfaces or profile details.

SHAFT-MOUNTED CRIMPED WIRE CUP BRUSH FOR A DRILL

The shaft-mounted crimped wire cup brush for a drill is a tool for cleaning small to medium-sized surfaces. Corrugated wire is ideal for fine processing or surface preparation of steel or stainless steel, it can be also used for processing wood and other soft and porous materials. Removes rust, paints, varnishes and depositions. An optimal grinding result is achieved when only the tips of the wire cup brush contact with the processed material.

CRIMPED CUP WIRE BRUSH FOR AN ANGLE GRINDER

 The crimped cup wire brush for an angle grinder M14 is a tool for processing hard-to-reach places, bevels and internal corners. Often applicable to remove rust and paint, dirt and paint residue. Corrugated wire is very gentle on the material. It is most commonly used for thin sheet metal in auto repair shops and restoration companies. In beveled brushes the working part of the tool makes an angle to the axis of attachment. This provides greater aggressiveness to the tool providing the ability to apply more pressure. At the same time it retains to some extent the advantage of the flat brush to work in hard-to-reach places.

CRIMPED CUP WIRE BRUSH FOR AN ANGLE GRINDER

The crimped cup wire brush for an angle grinder has the same characteristics as the shaft-mounted crimped wire cup brush for a drill. They are tools for cleaning small to medium sized surfaces. It is possible to brush large flat surfaces with their help. The wire makes a very small angle to the axis of rotation which allows maximum compressive force to be applied. This allows the brushing of highly contaminated by corrosion and unwanted coated details, it is possible to clean even remnants of building materials (concrete, cement). It is used for the preparation of flat large parts of sheet materials before painting.

TWISTED KNOT WIRE BEVEL BRUSH FOR AN ANGLE GRINDER

 Thanks to the twisted carbon steel wire the brush has a high work efficiency. Exceptionally suitable for cleaning large areas. It is used to remove scale, rust, varnish, slag, etc. An optimal grinding result is achieved when only the tips of the wire cup brush contact with the processed material. Excessive pressure during operation significantly accelerates the wear of the brush. The wires break and thus reduce the lifetime of the brush. The maximum operating speed of wire brushes depends on the diameter of the brush.
