NUTS

Nuts are used to connect two or more elements. These fasteners cannot be used alone as they are a steel plate with a round hole on which inside there is a thread.

Therefore, nuts are always used with bolts or threaded rods and together form a screw joint.

Nuts come in a wide variety of sizes and types with the most common types being hex, coupling, hex with an insert, flange, cap, wing, square, ring and others. We offer a wide range of nuts at affordable prices and of high quality. We offer you nuts with our trademark kamfix which has established itself on the European and Bulgarian markets.

Our products are preferred by private customers and business ones on Bulgarian market and abroad as we care about product quality, fast order fulfillment and correct relations with our customers.

All fasteners offered by Kam-04 OOD are certified according to DIN, ISO and BDS.

HEX NUT

The most common nuts are the hex nuts. The construction of these nuts consists of a body with a hole in which a thread is cut. In terms of shape and size, they can be low, tall and extended. Depending on the direction of tightening, the nuts can be left- or right-handed, with a fine or  a coarse pitch. Usually the material from which they are made is steel A1, A2, A3, A4, A5. Their purpose is to fasten details to each other by screwing to a bolt or a threaded rod with the help of a key.

COUPLING NUT

A coupling nut, also called a spacer or connecting nut, has the shape of an external hex. Most often, these nuts are used to extend threaded rods. The coupling nut is made of steel and is galvanized.

HEX NUT with an INSERT

This type of nut also called self-insured is equipped with a non-metallic insert located at one end. It is characteristic of the insert that its diameter is smaller than the nut`s one and after it is winded up on the bolt it is deformed and takes the shape of the thread. Hex nuts with an insert are resistant to vibration so they are used in installations where there is a risk of self-unwinding.

FLANGE NUT

Characteristic of this type of nuts is the presence of a pressed securing washer also called a flange. Through it the contact with the detail is on a larger surface thus the forces arising at the joint are distributed evenly over a larger area. The presence of the flange eliminates the need for a washer and the possibility of rolling as well.

CAP NUT

This type of fasteners is also called blind nuts. They are mainly used with a decorative effect to give a finished look to the product. Cap nuts have low strength qualities, they are a hexagonal nut with a cap in its upper part. They are used in household electrical appliances and any other machines and equipment.

WING NUT

The advantage of this type of nuts is that no tools are required for installation, they are extremely easy to screw with just one hand. The wing nut is suitable for structures that require frequent assembly and disassembly.

RING NUT

A ring nut has a ring at the top and a threaded hole at the bottom where a bolt or a threaded rod could be winded up. Serves for load-holding of body parts. It is made of carbon or stainless steel.
